The mission for Vodafone Network Operations (VNO) is to benefit customers by ensuring continued high quality of network connectivity and services in all our markets delivering world class operational support of our networks whilst further driving simplicity and efficiency for Vodafone.
As a Steering Transformation Excellence Engineer, you´ll be in charge of the following responsibilities:
Manage full lifecycle of transformational programs and cross-verticals projects concerning the information systems related to Vodafone markets.Coordinate, as single point of contact for Service Management and inside Group Network Operations function, the analysis for new transformational projects, supporting their Stage Gate approval process and providing the network relevant information for the definition and management of the Service Delivery Plan.Perform technical project management for various information systems in all technology areas (Mobile & Fixed Access, Voice & Data Core, Service Platforms, Transmission & Transport, NW Virtual Infrastructure and OSS).Ensure the scope and objectives delivered by the programs & projects are according to the business continuity requirements.
Ensure appropriate prioritisation, planning and reporting for the managed programs & projects.Interface NSE to understand the technology evolution for this area and ensure the proper planning and adherence to operational requirements will be in place.Drive VNO contribution to RFQs together with VNO Governance, NSE and VPC, ensuring the technical expertise coming from the different vertical teams will be properly included in the RFQ evaluation.Interface with GNO verticals for their specific demand process and perform feasibility assessment of network impacts for new service requests asked by Group/local depts.
