The Centre for Genomic Regulation (CRG) is an international biomedical research institute of excellence, based in Barcelona, Spain, with more than 400 scientists from 44 countries. The CRG is composed of an interdisciplinary, motivated and creative scientific team supported by a flexible and efficient administration and high-end innovative technologies.
In April 2021, the Centre for Genomic Regulation (CRG) received the renewal of the 'HR Excellence in Research' Award from the European Commission. The candidate will be responsible for:
Running the internal CRG training plan including logistics and designing visual communication material for dissemination of courses and related activities for all CRG employees.Managing FUNDAE: control of course attendance, database, course evaluation, and feedback questionnaires. Delivery of documentation, budget, and credit available in FUNDAE.Organizing scientific workshops and events for various European projects with a strong training component (e.g., Twinning).The successful candidate will work with our team to ensure the execution of high-quality, innovative, and effective training programs that align with the institute's strategic goals.
About the departmentAt the beginning of 2022, the CRG established a new Training and Academic Office as part of the Director's Office. This office plays a central role in fostering scientific talent through comprehensive training and academic initiatives. Working closely with the CRG PhD and Postgraduate Committees, the office serves as a key resource for PhD students and Postdoctoral communities, managing tasks such as call organization, academic counseling, and career coaching. Members oversee the organization of internal courses and advanced international scientific programs, including Courses@CRG and EMBO practical workshops. The successful candidate will be involved in implementing scientific and transferable skills training programs for European projects (Era talent and Twinning) and will oversee the internal training program during the maternity leave of the CRG Training officer.

Selection ProcessPre-selection: The pre-selection process will be based on qualifications and expertise reflected in the candidates' CV and motivation letter. It will be merit-based.
Interview: Preselected candidates will be interviewed by the Hiring Manager of the position and a selection panel if required.
Offer Letter: Once the successful candidate is identified, the People department will send a Job Offer, specifying the start day, salary, working conditions, among other important details.
