We're looking for a Training and Skills Consultant to join our Capacity Building team. You could come from various backgrounds, such as project or programme management, particularly in cyber skills development, or have a strong background in designing cyber security programs. Taking ownership of PGI's clients' learning, training, and skill development solutions.
Consulting on design and scoping through to delivery as our subject matter expert on digital upskilling, leading capacity building engagements.
Manage domestic and international digital security programs, including budget, risk, and team leadership.
Design and execute plans to meet product goals and revenue targets.
Providing subject matter expertise to effectively build client bids, proposals, respond to tenders, etc., including quality assurance and delivery modelling as required.
Supporting business development and Project Success teams, focussing on value-add, costing and developing the competitive edge to help win/maintain client work.
Providing subject matter expertise for training or skills development initiatives including cyber workforce frameworks, digital job roles, and career pathway designs.
Shaping project teams, drawing on your extensive network of partners, trainers, and consultants.
Overseeing the development and delivery of accredited/non-accredited digital security learning content, such as CREST, NCSC-Assured or customised standards.
Engaging as a consultant, advising internationally at state level on how to build national digital workforces, using cyber security common domain knowledge (DFIR – blue team, technology testing/exploitation – red team, purple teams, etc).
Managing relationships with strategic partnerships, third-party contractors, funding or accreditation bodies and suppliers.
Delivering digital security awareness training or key workforce planning deliverables to c-suite and executive levels.
Writing, collating, presenting, deploying, and managing learner assessments, lesson plans, infrastructure needs, course cards (TSKAs).
Conducting client skills gap/training needs analyses to determine organisation learning needs or capacity building.
On day one you will bring
Track record of delivering capacity building programs internationally, especially in Africa, Eastern Europe, Western Balkans, and Indo-Pacific regions.
Experience in designing and delivering capacity-building programs focused on cyber skills,
Familiarity with CREST, NCSC, or NIST's NICE standards, as well as other industry-recognized digital/cyber/OSINT training or certifications.
Ability to govern and assess trainee trainers to meet the highest standards.
Expertise in conducting skills gap or training needs analyses.
Extensive network of trusted partners, trainers, and consultants.
Knowledge of Monitoring, Evaluation, and Learning (MEL) reporting.
Effective client management skills across various cultures and regions.
Proven ability to oversee quality standards when customizing training material.
Awareness of skills frameworks and skill in designing tailored versions.
Ability to prepare or train learners to meet standards such as CREST, CompTIA, BCS, NCSC-Assured, or Cyberscheme.
Competence in cybersecurity or OSINT skills development.
Proficiency in designing and delivering reskilling or retraining programs, including diversity initiatives.
Skill in designing solutions and identifying commercial and project risks.
Experience in presales and commercial cost/pricing.
Leadership ability in training and mentoring team members.
Skill in assessing learners and providing feedback on progression or roles.
Ability to define technical resource requirements and task stakeholders accordingly.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present clearly to senior stakeholders.
Willingness to travel overseas and engage with a diverse range of international clients, partners, and beneficiaries.
