Reporting to the HR Manager this position will perform a key function within our training and development team, providing customer centred training and development information, coordination of activities. Additionally, the role will provide efficient management of our training and development systems, ensuring we deliver a suitably skilled workforce for today and for the future. This is a great opportunity for a self-motivated individual who thrives in a fast paced and collaborative work environment.Key responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:Conduct suitable skills and competency gap assessments and organisational learning needs initiatives directly aligned with business objectives, and legislative & regulatory requirements.Collaborate with leaders to understand their training and capability needs and deliver suitable and timely solutions to meet operational and functional needs.Provide suitable support and guidance in planning of individual or team development goals.Manage the apprenticeship, traineeship and government compliance requirements and associated financial activities and facilitate relevant learning opportunities.Schedule and coordinate operational, specialist and development training with stakeholders.Skills and experienceTo be successful in this position, we are seeking candidates who can bring the following skills and experience to the role:Cert IV in Training and Assessment.Tertiary qualifications in Human Resources are an advantage, but not essential.Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience in a similar or related customer centric position.Hands-on experience developing and facilitating competency-based training in a related industry.Experience sourcing and developing partnerships with third party providers and agencies.Previous experience managing training compliance and training records, including training administrative procedures and processes.Exposure to resources, engineering or communications environment / industries is an advantage.Strong attention to detail, balanced with high level of efficiency.Highly proficient with Microsoft Applications including Excel, Outlook, Word.Strong interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills coupled with the ability to build successful relationships with internal and external stakeholders.Strong organisational skills with ability to multitask and respond to changing needs.Energetic and thrives in a team environment, yet comfortable working autonomously.Employee BenefitsOur employees enjoy a range of benefits including:Training and Development opportunities.Paid parental leave for eligible employees.Salary Sacrifice arrangements (Salary Sacrificing Superannuation and Novated Leasing).Sickness & Accident Insurance.Complimentary Employee Assistance Program.RDO's.Employee Referral Bonus.We recognise the importance of having a diverse workforce and encourage candidates from all backgrounds including First Nations People, people with differing abilities and LGBTIQ+ and Australian Defence Force Veterans to apply.
