As a Transport Planner Trainee at Arup, you will: Develop and apply transport and pedestrian models using industry-standard software (e.G., Vissim, Aimsun, TransCAD, MassMotion, Legion). Contribute to transport planning projects, including evaluating alternatives, developing mobility plans, and conducting traffic studies. Analyse best practices and support the preparation of presentations and reports related to transport studies and modelling work. Be self-motivated, eager to learn and experience new challenges every day. Does this role inspire you? We're looking for graduates who are passionate about sustainable transport and urban development. Ideally, you'll bring: Pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Transportation Engineering, Geography, Urban Planning, or a related field. Advanced use of Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint). Fluency in Spanish and English (C1 level). Enthusiasm, strong computer skills, a proactive attitude, and excellent communication skills (written and verbal). Bonus Points if you have: Desire to improve transportation systems and desire to learn. Numerical and analytical inclination, with good computer knowledge. Experience in other representation tools such as GIS knowledge. Traffic simulation software: VISSIM, VISUM, Aimsun, or similar. Programming: Python. Ability to communicate verbally and in writing the results of analysis and modeling. Previous experience in the sector will be valuable but not essential. Duration: 6 months of extendable internship (possibility of joining after completing the internship). Schedule: From 20 to 40 hours per week to be defined with the student.
