1 Trainee, Product Specialist for our Pulp & Energy and Paper Business Line

Location : Zaragoza, Spain

Contract : An initial 1-Year Temporary, full time

This exciting opportunity is part of the South Europe, Middle East, and Africa Trainee program , where you will network with graduates from various countries and gain invaluable experience.

Responsibilities :

As a Trainee, Product Specialist, reporting to the General Sales Manager of the Iberia area, your responsibilities will include :

Development of our internal data base including OEM spare parts lists and technical information per equipment and customer.

Develop and grow your own role as technology expert for our customers, supported by other Valmet experts and own study.

Preparation of Spare Parts Packages for Annual Shutdowns (Fiberline+ Paper+Tissue).

Provide technical support to customers.

Building a strong internal networking with Valmet Technology Experts.

Participation during Annual Shutdowns to identify customer needs.

Support in Agreements Development.

Managing customer spare parts orders, ensuring smooth communication and information transfer within the company to facilitate order fulfillment.

Preparing service quotations and handling sales communications.

Qualifications :

A recent degree in Mechanical Engineering (obtained within the last year 2023-2024).

Strong mechanical technical skills : reading and interpreting engineering drawings, assembly and disassembly of mechanical systems, understanding of maintenance manuals.

Fluency in Spanish and English.

Willingness to travel within the Iberia area up to 60% of the time.

Excellent soft skills : Problem-solving, critical thinking, communication, teamwork and adaptability.

People and sales skills.
