The Opportunity Join us on an exciting journey to build your career as a Trainee Logistics Planner.
Based at our Bardon Hill headquarters in Coalville, Leicestershire you'll develop a career and not just a job by becoming a crucial part of our logistics delivery team.
Your career with us will start with your ability to learn and develop, not your past experience.
And, with the support of management and experienced planners you'll receive full training and development to unleash your full potential.
Once your training is complete you'll be responsible for organising deliveries of aggregates across the Midlands region.
You'll be working in a fast paced environment where deliveries can be scheduled for the same or next day.
You'll also have to take into account potential breakdowns of vehicles or issues with the plant, so you'll need to make changes to your schedule and keep our teams updated with new ETA's.
You'll help build working relationships with hauliers and other internal stakeholders along with assisting in the negotiation of haulage rates.
Who you are You are able to adapt to changes in information and revisit work already completed against the new information.
You'll be resilient and cope well in sometimes pressured situations.
You'll be a great communicator, capable of building relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
You'll be a natural organiser, taking pride in your ability to process and take action on various streams of incoming information.
