Trainee International Business & Logistics (French Speaker) ESP-Mataró (Barcelona) Join our team and you'll support the Export Manager on the Strategic Africa Project, aiding our North & West African subsidiaries.
You will oversee logistics, provide excellent customer service, implement brand strategies, and assist with market studies and compliance, driving success across key markets.
Responsibilities: Support the Export Manager on the Strategic Africa Project. Provide Commercial and Business Development support to our subsidiaries in North & West Africa. Supervise all logistics processes, detect issues, and provide excellent customer service. Drive the definition of strategy and implementation of brand and commercial objectives, managing distributors and agents in the assigned countries. Align with key distributors to define, negotiate, monitor, and adapt plans and investments for each key market, brand, and retail channel. Assist in implementing the figure of Area Sales Manager in Pharmacy and Hospitals channels, together with our representation in Africa. Ensure that all documents are correctly translated. Support the achievement of Market Studies, Benchmarking Analysis, and define brand priorities in each market with the Marketing team, according to the channel and its corresponding actions (sell-in and sell-out). Review and follow-up on forecast and new product launch plans in coordination with the team, and monitor the P&L by country and Order to Cash processes. Ensure compliance with legal requirements regarding contracts and agreements with distributors, and support in identifying opportunities and potential risks. Qualifications: Close to graduating from college or a master's degree in Business Administration, Economics, International Relations, Marketing, Engineering, or related areas. Knowledge of logistics and international trade will be valued. Must be able to sign an internship agreement with your University for one year. High command of English and French languages. Good command of Microsoft Office tools (mainly Excel and PowerPoint). Part-time attendance at our Mataró office is required.
