This team specializes in the design of architectural envelopes for various building types, with a focus on unique and innovative projects.As a Trainee Façades Architect at Arup, you will:Work in a multidisciplinary team and in coordination with the architects responsible for the design and other agents involved (consultants, manufacturers, installers, etc.), in all phases of the project, from the concept to the monitoring of the execution on site.Develop details and construction systems, material studies, etc.Determine target performance of envelopes, and calculation of their thermal/energy and structural behaviour, including the calculation of components made of different materials: metal, glass, textiles, etc.Does this role inspire you?We are looking for someone proactive and dynamic who is seeking to develop their career in the façades area. Ideally, you'll bring:Currently studying a degree in Architecture, Building Engineering or Industrial Engineering or be studying a Master in Light Facade Architecture, Master in Technological Facades and Sustainable Envelopes or a similar specialization course.Special interest in the design and engineering of envelopes, with emphasis on performance aspects.High level of English (C1).Knowledge of 3D drawing and modeling programs: AutoCAD, Rhinoceros, Revit, Solidworks, Tekla or similar.Freehand drawing and sketching skills.Interest in working on national and international projects, and interest in sustainability, digital environments and innovation.High organizational and communication skills.Proactivity and dynamism.ConditionsBe enrolled in the university to be able to establish an agreement with the University.Immediate incorporation.Duration: 6 months of extendable internship (possibility of joining after completing the internship).Schedule: From 20 to 40 hours per week to be defined with the student.Remuneration: will depend on the student's level of training and the number of hours established
