Spanish International Aircraft Maintenance SL (SIAM) is one of six heavy aircraft maintenance providers for our client Ryanair, carrying out maintenance on Ryanair's entire fleet of New Generation Boeing 737-800 series aircraft, at our Hangar facility located in Seville, Spain.
As part of our continuous growth plan, we are seeking to recruit Trainee Aircraft Mechanics for our 12-week training program with intakes throughout 2024.
The Trainee Aircraft Mechanic program is open to all. It provides candidates with the opportunity to upskill and pursue a career as a licensed Aircraft Engineer.
The 12-week training program aims to provide the trainee with the necessary skills and knowledge. Once the trainee has successfully completed and passed the course, he/she can continue in the company as a junior Mechanic developing the following tasks under supervision:
Duties will include, but are not limited to: Carrying out maintenance tasks as requiredMaintain a high standard of work in all tasksComplete the appropriate documentationComply with all company procedures, policies, regulations and MOEMaintain a safe and clean working environmentEnsure the company Health and Safety policy is adhered toAny other tasks as directed by Supervisor / ManagerMinimum Requirements: Unrestricted right to live and work in Europe and travel freely throughout Europe.A strong aptitude for manual work is recommended.A keen interest in a career within aircraft maintenance.Basic knowledge of English is required (Level B1 minimum) and a secondary school diploma, equivalent or higher as an educational qualification.Ability to pass a full security background check.Be 18 years or older.In addition to offering successful candidates the opportunity to work within the aviation industry, we also offer:
