Spanish International Aircraft Maintenance SL (SIAM) is one of six heavy aircraft maintenance providers for our client Ryanair, carrying out maintenance on Ryanair's entire fleet of New Generation Boeing 737-800 series aircraft, at our Hangar facility located in Seville, Spain. As part of our continuous growth plan, we are seeking to recruit Trainee Aircraft Mechanics for our 12-week training program with intakes throughout 2024. The Trainee Aircraft Mechanic program is open to all. It provides candidates with the opportunity to upskill and pursue a career as a licensed Aircraft Engineer. The 12-week training program aims to provide the trainee with the necessary skills and knowledge. Once the trainee has successfully completed and passed the course, he/she can continue in the company as a junior Mechanic developing the following tasks under supervision: Duties will include, but are not limited to: Carrying out maintenance tasks as required Maintain a high standard of work in all tasks Complete the appropriate documentation Comply with all company procedures, policies, regulations and MOE Maintain a safe and clean working environment Ensure the company Health and Safety policy is adhered to Any other tasks as directed by Supervisor / Manager Minimum Requirements: Unrestricted right to live and work in Europe and travel freely throughout Europe. A strong aptitude for manual work is recommended. A keen interest in a career within aircraft maintenance. Basic knowledge of English is required (Level B1 minimum) and a secondary school diploma, equivalent or higher as an educational qualification. Ability to pass a full security background check. Be 18 years or older.
