Your mission:As a Trading Operations Expert at Bitpanda, your mission will be to lead projects and solve complex problems for your team and department by working alongside the Trading Operations Team Lead. You are well-versed in the principles of financial instruments and trading systems and also possess a problem-solving oriented mindset.What you'll do:Deep-dive into our financial products, trading and hedging systems to identify and solve complex problems.Work with internal cross-functional teams to streamline processes and create system improvements.Support senior management on strategic projects, product development and ad-hoc requests.Own streams in various projects where you provide input for the company while representing the Trading Operations team.Identify potential risks and mitigate them by involving relevant parties; understand the why behind problems and seek to provide solutions that eradicate the root cause.Proactively improve processes & recommend system improvements.What we're looking for:Min. 5-year experience in trading operations or similar area with an excellent understanding of trade lifecycle.Solid understanding of cryptocurrencies and blockchain technology; additional experience working with other asset classes such as equities, commodities, derivatives is a plus.Very strong attention to detail and excellent organization skills.Excellent data analysis skills, ability to distill relevant information from large amounts of data; knowledge of SQL, Python or R is a plus.A self-driven personality with great project management, communication and analytical skills.Great team player, able to work in a pressurized and changing environment.Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Statistics or similar area is preferred.
