Your role and responsibilities
In this role, you will have the opportunity to lead the execution of medium-size and/or complex to large projects. Each day, you will ensure that all related activities are performed in accordance with procedures, regulations, standards, specifications, and targets. You will also showcase your expertise by supporting the oversight of team development and process improvement to continually increase the effectiveness of project execution, especially in smaller units. The work model for the role is hybrid. This role is contributing to the division in Spain. You will be mainly accountable for:
Leading the project team, establishing the project execution approach, and overseeing project hand-over, execution planning, monitoring and control activities for internal and external resources to accomplish all project goals.
Contracts review, analysis and execution.
Full Cost Model validation. Project economic control. Responsible of right plan and execution to achieve budget.
Manage communication between customers and different ABB units involved in current projects.
Providing leadership and active involvement in continuous improvement and simplification.
Supporting local Sales and Tendering through early involvement in tenders.
Supporting local Service team along the warranty period of executed projects.
Driving the formal acceptance of the project, contract close-out, and acknowledgment by the customer, all in accordance with the contract.
Qualifications for the role
You are highly skilled in working with SAP, Windchill, Microsoft Office and Project Management Professional tools and methodologies.
Have established skills developed during at least 5 years of experience in Project Management.
Possess an enhanced knowledge of railway, or power electronics or power grids related market and a project management certificate would be beneficial.
You are innovative around communication, problem solving and customer focus.
You are passionate about a structured and independent way of working.
Degree in Engineering related field.
You are at ease communicating in English and Spanish language skills. German language skills are a plus.
