.An opportunity for a B1 Aircraft Maintenance Technician has arisen within Airbus Defence and Space, Getafe (Madrid). The position is based in Getafe but the candidate must be willing to work abroad at ADS customer's sites (not very long stays) to support ADS Services organization to implement Services Bulletins.RESPONSIBILITIES The jobholder will be responsible for:Prepare, perform and certify base and line maintenance works as a B1 certifying staff.Carry out production/conversion works on the aircraft to prepare it for ground test as well as the required support during tests execution.Carry out retrofit mechanical works and tests on the aircraft in accordance with applicable retrofit service bulletin.Perform aircraft discrepancy fixing, troubleshooting, handling and servicing.Participate as A/C maintenance specialist in second hand aircraft inspections and findings documentation where these aircraft are based in order to evaluate their situation status to be converted into an MRTT.SKILLS Is your profile aligned to the following list of skills? We are looking forward to knowing you:Aircraft maintenance license EASA PART 66 category B1 aircraft rating Airbus A330 (RR TRENT 700) without limitations is MANDATORY.Being in possession of a valid EMAR / FR 66 B1 aircraft maintenance license with the A330 will be RECOMMENDED.Minimum of 5 years of previous experience in Airbus aircraft maintenance environment and at least 2 years working in A330 (RR TRENT 700) and/or (GE CF6).Candidates shall also be able to demonstrate by delivering during the selection process a copy of the relevant records to show up to date aircraft continuous training and experience in accordance with EASA regulation in this aircraft.Languages: English independent user / Spanish negotiation level.Holding of national and NATO security clearance (SC) will be highly appreciated.Shall have experience of working to high quality standards and have an understanding of work recording and job traceability.Experience in reading and understanding detailed technical data and manufacturer's maintenance manuals and instructions in English.A high knowledge of Aircraft Health and Safety procedures and a good standard of computer literacy are required.This is a challenging position combining a desirable military background, EASA Part 66 license as well as EMAR / FR 66.Electrical knowledge will be highly appreciated (stripping and crimping).The candidate shall be willing to obtain National and NATO clearance, HPS Habilitación Personal de Seguridad.WHICH BENEFITS WILL YOU HAVE AS AIRBUS EMPLOYEE?
