Entering into contract and the conditions thereof will be subject to the receipt of the money from the Spanish State Research Agency MCIU/AEI/10.13039/501100011033 ERDF, the EU and the European Social Fund Plus (ESF+).1.2.
Number of job vacancies: one.1.3.
Job position: pre-doctoral researcher under a pre-doctoral contract in accordance with Article 22 of Spanish Act 14/2011, of 1 June, on Science.1.4.
Working hours: 37.5 hours/week in morning/afternoon sessions.1.5.
Remuneration: €1,391.36 gross/monthly for the first year of the contract and €1,741.34 gross/monthly for the second, third and fourth year, plus extra payments in accordance with the regulations in force, as well as the salary increases approved by law each year.1.6.
Duration of the contract: maximum 4 years.1.7.
This contractual research position also covers research stays undertaken by the selected candidate at RD; centres and enrolment fees in doctoral studies at the University of Alicante.Second.
PurposeThe successful candidate will collaborate in the project "Characteristics of the development of teaching competence as a system of specific professional practices during the initial training period of mathematics teachers" (PID2023-149624NB-I00), by carrying out research tasks, as well as doctoral training in the area of Mathematics Teaching to pursue a doctoral thesis associated with the aforementioned project.Third.
Job profilePreference will be given to those candidates with training and experience related to:3.1.
Mathematics teaching and research in mathematics teaching and the professional learning of mathematics teachers.3.2.
Qualification:· Undergraduate degree in Mathematics or in Primary Education (Spanish MECES level 2 or EQF level 6) or any other degree with equivalent content.· Official Master's degree in Educational Research: concentration in Mathematics Teaching, official Master's degree in Secondary, Upper Secondary, Vocational and Language Teaching: concentration in Mathematics (Spanish MECES level 3 or EQF level 7) or any other Master's degree with equivalent content.Fourth.
Requirements for applicantsCompliance with the requirements listed below must always refer to the date of expiry of the deadline for the submission of applications and must be maintained until the date of entering into the contract.
Applicants must:4.1.
Hold or be in the process of obtaining an undergraduate degree, of at least 300 ECTS credits, a Master's degree, or equivalent degree.4.2.
Meet the academic requirements necessary for admission to the PhD programme in Educational Research at the University of Alicante.4.3.
Not hold or be in the process of obtaining a PhD degree from a Spanish or foreign university.4.4.
Be a Spanish national or be in one of the situations listed in article 57 of Royal Legislative Decree 5/2015, of 30 October.4.5.
Be at least 16 years of age and not exceed the maximum compulsory retirement age.4.6.
Possess the physical and mental capacities necessary for the performance of the corresponding functions or tasks.4.7.
