OVERVIEWBausch Health Poland is currently looking to fill a new role for Contract Manufacturing Procurement Category Manager.
The person will be responsible for managing procurement of products manufactured and supplied by external contract manufacturing organizations (CMO) to Bausch Health globally.
Primary responsibility includes finished and semi-finished pharmaceutical products category management, with a focus on savings (identification of synergies, cost optimizations, negative impact mitigation, and delivery of savings according to targets), contracting for the assigned category and suppliers, and supply continuity issues arising (assessment, reporting, resolution with suppliers and internal stakeholders).
KEY RESPONSIBILITIESManage assigned portfolio of external suppliers and product categories.Define, implement and execute yearly savings, short and long-term savings pipeline, and develop sourcing strategies for assigned portfolio.Implement and maintain strong and effective supplier relationships to drive quality and supply improvement, cost reductions, and ensure that their performance meets or exceeds company requirements.Negotiate contracts with assigned suppliers and monitor contracts execution to maximize savings and positive impact on the business.Build and maintain accuracy for spend, savings, cost increase & mitigations reporting and contract tracker for assigned CMO's.Represent Procurement during due diligence process with R&D/BD for new license deals with external manufacturers.Provide business Intelligence support in terms of market screening, benchmarking and industry knowledge.Work with other teams within Global Procurement Organization to identify and utilize synergies and monitor market trends.Cooperate with Supply & Demand teams to minimize negative impact of supply disruptions and serve as a point for escalation to CMO's.Work with Tech Transfer, Project Management, and QA Teams on relevant product transfer projects.Propose new projects for savings, risk mitigations, consolidation, and insourcing.Comply with internal SOP's and Policies, including procurement processes, procedures, and best practice initiatives. Minimum RequirementsThe following attributes are necessary:
Bachelor's degree.Technical or commercial background (Pharmaceutical or Chemical preferred).
