WHAT YOU'LL DO
As a Senior Knowledge Analyst (SKA) within BCG's Operations Practice Area, you will work in a growing global team, providing functional expertise and insights whilst working together with case and proposal teams to provide knowledge assets, analysis, and expert advisory. You'll serve as a thought partner and content expert to case teams and topic/sector leaders, helping structure and solve complex issues.
As an expert for cost analysis, cost reduction, and efficiency optimization in corporate functions (e.g., Finance, HR), your contribution will range from remote support with ad-hoc requests to full staffing on a module or case, occasionally on client site. You'll master BCG's methods and tools and deliver original cost analyses, e.g., benchmarking, and insights to case teams and participate in problem-solving discussions. Additionally, you will support your Service & Support Operations topic in developing existing & new intellectual property and knowledge assets. You will work on commercialization efforts for the topic, in conjunction with business leaders, supporting marketing efforts, conferences, and publications.
YOU'RE GOOD AT
- Solving client problems through selecting and applying analytical approaches in your area of expertise, namely cost optimization, cost analytics, organizational design, benchmarking, preferably in relation with corporate functions operations.
- Codifying knowledge and maintaining assets and tools in cooperation with our consultants, tools, and analytics teams.
- Communicating with senior stakeholders, in a credible and confident way.
- Working collaboratively and effectively in a group dynamic, often virtual, proficient in agile ways of working.
- Flexibility and bringing a curious and creative mindset, open to new things and able to propose innovative ideas.
- Ability to navigate complexity and ambiguity.
YOU BRING (EXPERIENCE & QUALIFICATIONS)
- 2+ years of consulting experience with relevance to corporate functions; candidates with consulting experience preferred.
- In lieu of consulting experience, 3+ years minimum industry experience required; 4-6+ years of industry experience strongly preferred.
- Bachelor's Degree required (advanced degree preferred).
- Fluency in English; German language preferred.
- Outstanding interpersonal and communication skills to interact with internal and external stakeholders while working in a global collaborative team environment.
