We embrace a strong risk culture, and all our professionals are expected to take a proactive and responsible approach toward risk management.WHAT YOU WILL BE DOINGAs a Threat Monitoring Analyst, you will:Monitor security events received through alerts from SIEM or other security tools.Revise alerts escalated by end users and carry out Level 1 triage of incoming issues (initial assessment of the priority of the event, initial determination of incident to assess risk and damage, or appropriate routing of security or privacy data requests).Carry out limited incident response to end users for low complexity security incidents.Maintain assigned ticket queue.Participate actively in the resolution of incidents, even after they are escalated.EXPERIENCEAt least 6 months experience in a similar position.Security Essentials.Computer Forensic Investigation - Windows in depth.Security Incident Handling and forensics.EDUCATIONBachelor's Degree in Computer Science Engineering, Information Technology, Telecommunications Engineering, or equivalent work experience.SKILLS & KNOWLEDGEGeneral network knowledge, TCP/IP troubleshooting.Ability to trace down an endpoint on the network based on ticket information.Familiarity with system log information and its implications.Understanding of common network services (web, mail, DNS, authentication).General desktop OS and server OS knowledge.TCP/IP, internet routing, Unix/Linux & Windows NT.Knowledge of host-based firewalls, anti-malware, HIDS.Technical hands-on experience with a good understanding of common technology platforms and security technologies.English proficiency (B2).If you want to know more about us, visit our website: https://www.betechwithsantander.com/en/home
