Job Description: The successful candidate will coordinate and manage the Test and Verification subarea, ensuring optimal performance in the testing and validation of cutting-edge photonic technologies.
The role involves hands-on leadership of a team and collaboration across departments to meet the highest industry standards in defense and space applications.
Responsibilities: Oversee and ensure the efficient functioning of the Test and Verification subarea, aligning with project timelines and quality standards.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver solutions tailored for defence and space sectors.
Key Duties: Lead the Test and Verification subarea, focusing on high-performance photonics products.
Define and implement rigorous testing plans and procedures.
Review and validate deliverables, including test plans and technical documentation for product development.
Design and simulate advanced photonic systems, particularly Radio over Fiber (RoF), ensuring compliance with industry standards (ECSS) and regulatory requirements.
Act as the primary liaison with suppliers for resolving technical issues.
Assemble and test electro-optical components, including fiber splicing and partial testing for prototypes and final products (EBB, EQM, FM).
Conduct laboratory testing with state-of-the-art instruments, such as Optical and Electrical Spectrum Analysers, Network Analysers, RF Synthesizers, and Polarimeters.
Qualifications: Education: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Telecommunications, Electronics, Industrial Engineering, Photonics, or a related field.
Advanced knowledge of photonics systems and technologies .
Experience: 5–10 years in similar roles, preferably within the defense, space, or high-tech industries.
Key Skills & Attributes: Deep understanding of photonic technologies, including RoF (Radio over Fiber).
