As a Test & Validation Design Leader in Valeo Martos, you will have the opportunity to work with the most powerful carmaker companies in electronics development, in an international and multicultural environment.
Mission: The Test & Validation Leader is responsible for building the Design Validation & Review (DV&R;), conducting overall product test and validation activities (including electronic contents) within the R&D team, all along the project, from RFQ phase to last validation phases, and ensuring product conformity and robustness.
Your Responsibilities: Define the product test strategy based on Customer and Valeo standards specifications and risk analysis (PCA, PHA, DFMEA, R&D Metiers Fix-Variable-Specific analysis).
Support the project team for compatibility matrix & risk analysis, with contribution from the product family validation standard owner from the project acquisition phase.
Document Design Validation plan including environmental validation test plan and functional validation test plan with the product architect, based on defined test strategy.
Plan & quote at CAA (Contract Application Approval) with the R&D Project Team Member all necessary actions to run the Design Validation including number of parts, jigs, subcomponents, headcount, test bench costs (characterization, reliability), and potential external test costs.
Ensure that validation conditions & planning feasibility are within project commitments.
Coordinate all product integrations and validation activities (regulations, functional, system, optics, mechanics, EE tests including EMC, craftsmanship, vehicle tests), regardless of the laboratory involved.
Secure reports archiving in TMT.
Report issues at the first level of analysis and progress through Design Validation & Review dashboard (KPIs).
Report project validation risks assessment to the R&D PTM in Design Validation phase.
Manage RAISE Validation metier review.
