Job Description: A vacancy for a Test Support System Integrator has arisen within Airbus Defence & Space in Getafe.
The successful applicant will join the Engineering Department.
Tasks & accountabilities Your main tasks and responsibilities will include:
Support the stakeholders of test means in their tasks by preparation of the test means for the system, sub-system, equipment, component or module validation and verification activities, maintaining the test mean configuration in the dedicated configuration management tools, performing required maintenance activities of test means, performing failure investigations and problems solving, Unit Under Test (UUT) handling.
Ensure the safe operation of the test means and tools by applying and respecting applicable standards.Develop and deliver the appropriate test solutions systems (supporting Test System, Environment, Specific User Programs, code/decode COMMS Protocols, Rig stimulations) used and/or required by the different Laboratory Tests Means and/or other mission systems products.Support Sub-System and System Integration testing, qualification and certification activities.Integrate, verify and validate Laboratory Test Means before delivery to the final customer.Required skills We are looking for candidates with the following skills and experience:
Educated to degree level in Engineering.Experience in Flight Test will be valuable.Skilled in C++ software development languages; Knowledge in Tactical Data Links (Link16, Link 22, VMF, JRE).
Comprehensive experience in the design, development and integration of software in the rig.Skilled in Qt cross-platform software development.Skilled in software testing.Capacity to work in a team and progress within the team.Knowledge in MIDS system would be appreciated.Knowledge in Tactical Data Links (Link16, Link 22, VMF, JRE) would be appreciated.English advanced.Spanish will be valuable.This job requires an awareness of any potential compliance risks and a commitment to act with integrity, as the foundation for the Company's success, reputation, and sustainable growth.
