Reporting to the Product Engineer, you will be involved in the Emissions & Fuel Economy team of the Powertrain Department for all kinds of vehicle technologies: ICE, PHEV, HEV, and EV.
The activities to be carried out will consist of:
Test vehicles instrumentationComplete vehicle testing and analysisManaging and reporting the related activities of those projectsTest equipment control and managerial responsibilitiesResponsibilities: Involved in projects related to emission measurements, fuel consumption, and energy managementEspecially involved in European Projects, related to particle emissions from brakes, particle emissions from tyres, life cycle assessment, real driving emissions, and energy consumptionTest and data logging equipment configuration, test supervision, test validation, data analysis, and reportingTest protocol definitions and detection of potential improvementsMaster plan project definition and exploding to sub-tasks and milestonesTest equipment control and checking according to quality standards, internal and externalTest equipment requirements definition ensuring suitability for testsDaily communications with involved technicians in the team to plan and monitor daily tasksQuality improvements and automation of data post-processingProject ManagementPreparation of the quotation for the customersPreparation of European projects proposalsPresentations (commercial and projects) to the customersProfile: Client orientationSkills on Office pack and macros ExcelFlexible scheduleWilling to travel abroad for testing and commercial visitsSelf-motivated, proactive, and good team playerAdded value: Experience in emissions, especially in particle emissionsExperience in automotive mechanicsOperating measuring instruments and fitting external instrumentation to vehicle/engineINCA and DiademExperience in project management as well as customer servicesEducation: University Degree in Mechanic, Electronics, or similar.
