Test Automation Engineer

Job Description
A day in your future job:

Designing and implementing automated test cases to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of the testing process;

Analysing test results and reporting on the status of test automation to quality assurance team and the management, including identifying areas for improvement and implementing changes as necessary;

Ensuring that the test automation processes comply with industry standards and regulations and that appropriate documentation is maintained;

Work with the QA team to ensure that all testing is completed on time and meets quality standards;

Continuously improve testing processes and methodologies to increase efficiency and effectiveness;

Define test cases and scenarios for new functionalities;

Assist business analysts and auditors.

Qualifications
Your assets to succeed:

Experience in automation mobile and/or desktop or mainframe technologies;

At least 2 years of experience in test automation, preferably in the finance industry;

Excellent understanding and experience with xpath, selenium WebDriver, Cucumber, Java – at least 3 + (or another language), Appium, Git, Azure DevOps;

Ability to understand and review automated test cases;

Good technical writing, documentation, and communication skills;

Rigorous, autonomous, and dynamic with good interpersonal skills, as well as an aptitude for analytical problem solving;

Degree in computer engineering, business administration, or related field;

ISTQB certification is an advantage but not required;

Capable to work in an English environment with a high capacity to handle stress.
