Job Description: PURPOSE The person will be working in Asturias, Spain. You will support the development of the Ormco business activities, exploring sales growth opportunities and cultivating relationships with our distribution partners. Develop leads from our distribution channels by creatively finding ways to penetrate the market and generate additional leads (e.g., tenders). As a Territory Manager, you are highly involved in training your peers and customers.
ACCOUNTABILITIES Visit assigned customers regularly to promote products, relate new product information, and receive feedback on the company's products and services.Responsible for creating long-lasting relationships and realizing revenue growth with tender regions, DMUs, and affiliated orthodontic specialists.Meet monthly, quarterly, and annual sales quotas.Visit potential customers to qualify them as sales prospects for the corporation.Understand and support the corporation's sales policies and procedures to provide proper and effective treatment to all customers.Relate new product ideas and product extensions to marketing management for evaluation.Follow corporate policies regarding customer entertainment and relations.Review and report complaints received from customers and recommend corrective actions to the Region Sales Manager.Collect and report competitive information to Marketing Management.Prepare periodic reports including:weekly call reportsweekly expense reportsperiodic general reportsother reports as assignedJob Requirements: KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & EXPERIENCE Critical Knowledge and Qualifications: Bachelor's degree or higher in Business or Economics.Critical Skills/technical know-how: Has a strategic view on business development and is proactively involved in training peers and customers.Demonstrated ability to relate well with people and work in an unstructured environment.Experience operating in an international environment.Fluent in English and native Spanish; additional language is an asset.Previous experience within the dental industry.Excellent computer skills (in Excel and CRM).Critical Experience: At least 3 years of sales and/or general business experience.COMPETENCIES – Essential for the role: Adaptability/resilience (maintaining a positive attitude despite challenges)Strong communication and relationship skillsStrong planning and organizing skillsBusiness acumen and financial understandingCustomer-orientedProblem solverSelf-sufficientEnthusiasticTeam playerConfidentProven successful in negotiationsStrong presentation skills with the ability to do product demonstrationsStrong time management skillsWilling and able to travel
