We are seeking a Territory Manager that will enjoy engaging with both clinical and administrative hospital staff. You will understand their needs and build long-lasting connections through a consultative sales approach. After a comprehensive 7-week training program, you will visit units where open and laparoscopic surgeries are performed, including electrosurgery, colorectal, bariatric, gynecology, urology, and orthopedics. You will engage in peer-level conversations with surgeons and nurses to propose solutions.
This is a dynamic field position, where you will be responsible for a dozen hospitals and clinics in the greater metropolitan area of Madrid and the area of Valladolid. You will report to the Regional Sales Manager and will be in regular contact with the rest of the sales team in Spain and your colleagues in the Netherlands (our European Headquarters).
Key Responsibilities: Identify key stakeholders per product segment and manage relationships autonomously. Our CRM tool will help you organize your appointments. Demonstrate the use of our products to doctors, practice staff, and nurses during planned surgeries, with the support of digital content. Meet or exceed quota expectations as established by product segment, both through direct sales and public tenders. Create effective business plans and approach strategies with your Regional Sales Manager. Work closely with international colleagues in our European HQ on tenders, price quotations, order samples, and customer requests. Keep up with the latest clinical data and communicate this information to health professionals. What you bring: Bachelor's or University degree level. At least 2 years of experience being present in the Operatory Room as a medical devices sales representative. Experience with Tenders (concurso públicos / licitationes públicas) as well as direct sales. Excellent oral and written communication skills in Spanish. Good oral and written communication skills in English. The availability to complete 3 weeks of training in English in the Netherlands. You live in Madrid or the surrounding area.
