It is an English speaking resort with the majority of guests from Denmark, United Kingdom and Germany.Work and responsibilitiesWorking as a tennis and/or padel instructor at Club La Santa, you will be part of the racket sports team consisting of 7-8 instructors.
Your main responsibilities include:Teaching tennis and padel to groups and individuals.Coordinating tournaments and teaching all levels of tennis and/or padel in groups of around 12 people.Conducting classes with different focuses such as serving, double tactics, volleys, and forehand/backhand.Providing personal instructions (PI s) focused on deeper technical and tactical development.Possibly teaching badminton, table tennis, and/or squash, and delivering the best experience to our guests.Working within the Green Team in other areas, such as Sports Booking, morning runs, events, and evening entertainment.Your working days will be varied in tasks and hours, and you will report directly to the In-Charge of racket sports in Lanzarote.QualificationsMinimum of 2 years teaching experience in either tennis or padel.Preferable: Experience and knowledge in other racket sports like squash, badminton, and table tennis.Fluent in English; secondary Spanish and/or Danish is a plus.Candidate profileGreat communication skills; able to give clear instructions and focus points.Ability to oversee multiple courts and communicate effectively in different contexts.Curious, open-minded, and self-reflective with a willingness to learn and share knowledge.Diligent and committed to delivering high standards every day.Team-oriented, capable of giving and receiving feedback.Independent and responsible, able to manage tasks in both high and low seasons.Strong problem-solving and organizational skills.What do we offerPermanent full-time contract with a 40-hour working week and 2 days off.Salary of 1,392.79 € bruto per month, with additional payments in December, June, and holiday pay.One free lunch provided on all working days.30 days of holiday per year plus 18 extra days as compensation for work on public holidays.Subsidised shared accommodation at 191.76 € per month.Full use of world-class sporting facilities at Club La Santa.Spanish Residency allowing for discounted travel within the Canary Islands and mainland Spain.A learning environment with opportunities for professional and personal development.Support in organizing necessary documentation for foreigners upon arrival in Spain.#J-18808-Ljbffr
