Our client brings extensive experience in delivering geophysical, geotechnical, and environmental survey services to industries including oil & gas, renewables, submarine cables, and ports.Key Responsibilities The Tender and Sales Manager is responsible for leading the inquiry-to-order process. Reporting to the Head of the Commercial Director, she/he owns the preparation and negotiation of high-quality proposals until contract award, all while adhering to the commercial policies and processes of the Company. Additionally, she/he actively contributes to identifying new leads in collaboration with the Business Development Manager. Furthermore:Sort through the various potential business opportunities and present the most pertinent ones to the Go/No decision committee.Define the winning commercial strategy for each opportunity (including the approach to weather risk).Coordinate multifunctional teams, including Operations, Purchasing, Legal, and Finance to develop comprehensive commercial and technical proposals.Define the winning pricing strategy while maximizing project profitability.Present the proposal to the management (financial summary, planning, and risk profile) and obtain the necessary approvals to release the bid.Take responsibility for drafting and negotiating the commercial and technical terms until the Contract awarded.Ensure that proposal deadlines are met.Conduct a professional handover to the execution team once the contract is signed.Work closely with the Head of Geophysics, Geotechnics, and the Purchasing Manager to integrate cost-efficient solutions in our offers.Embrace a continuous improvement approach by incorporating lessons learned from previous executions into our proposals.Collaborate with the Business Development Manager to identify new business opportunities.Participate in trade shows, conferences, and other related business events.Working towards continuously improving the cost estimates and risk assessment tools.Carry out other tasks as assigned by the manager.Candidate Profile Master's degree in Business Administration or engineering
