Duties/Responsibilities Assist with preparation of media, amended media, basic solutions, reagents as established by lab protocols (30%) Assist with cleaning and sterilization/autoclaving of pipette tips, glassware, beads, and other supplies as requested (30%) Assist with labeling and organization/cleaning of lab (20%) Assist with basic lab procedures/protocols (20%) Minimum Qualifications High school diploma required.
Individual will assist with preparation of media for isolation of plant pathogens, preparation of basic solutions and reagents or materials for lab assays, autoclaving glassware/other supplies, and lab organization/cleaning.
Knowledge, Skills, Abilities and/or Competencies Physical Demands: Driving, standing, lifting, enduring outside elements for extended period of time.
