This is Keysight - People and Culture - YouTube**About the Job**:**About the Team**:You will be a crucial member of Keysight Laboratories (Labs)located in Málaga (Spain), the forefront research department focused on developing groundbreaking solutions that shape the future of the company. Labs is actively engaged in collaborative European and Spanish research projects, working with various partners to prove and advance new 6G technologies.**Responsibilities**:In this position, you will be part of different cooperation projects focusing on the area of smart resource management (virtual and radio components) in ORAN and 6G. Your role involves using AI to manage resources efficiently, aiming for better services while also considering energy-efficiency aspects.We are primarily seeking someone with a profound understanding of telecommunications and experience with ORAN. Experience in programming (C++ or C#)and proficiency in Machine Learning and AI applied to communications are significant advantages.**Your main responsibilities will be**:- Acquiring a profound understanding of the 6G technologies.- Cooperate with the project's partners and learn about their challenges to propose solutions.- Implementing 6G concepts/technologies (e.G., xApps, mechanism to test AI algorithms in ORAN).- Definition KPIs and designing test cases to evaluate 6G technologies /improvements.- Describing the work done and proposed solutions in the project deliverables.**Required Qualifications**:- Master's degree in telecommunications or network engineering (individuals from academia with a Ph.D. or PostDoc background are also encouraged to apply.)- Intermediate experience with O-RAN,preferably in RIC (Radio Intelligent Controller)- Intermediate to advanced experience as a Telecommunications Engineer- Strong experience working with 4G and 5G network technologies.**Desired Qualifications**:- Experience with and knowledge of cellular networks, both core and RAN parts.- Experience working in research, cooperation programs and writing deliverables.- Experience working with virtualized networking and network functions.- Experience with Git versioning control (GitHub, Gitlab) and automation of development and build pipelines.**What we offer**:A place within an exciting company!
