We are currently seeking a talented Network and Systems technician.
Role overview: The Network and Systems Technician plays a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation, maintenance, and security of an organization's network infrastructure and systems.
This position involves a combination of technical expertise and problem-solving skills to support the daily functioning of network connections, servers, and associated hardware and software components.
Skills and Qualifications: CISCO certification.
A minimum of 3 years deploying or supporting IT infrastructure.
Cisco and CheckPoint (troubleshooting and basic configuration).
Firewall troubleshooting and basic configuration.
Network Monitoring, switching, routing, DNS/DHCP.
Batch / PowerShell / Python.
Linux operating systems (Debian, Ubuntu, Kali, MacOS, etc.)
Cloud: AWS, Azure or Google.
Microsoft Active Directory skills.
Excellent problem-solving and communication skills, with the ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
English (B1 minimun).
Key responsabilities: Assist in the evaluation, improvement, and management of our customer's infrastructure (Network, computing, cloud computing, NAS, etc.).
Assist in the monitoring of infrastructure and dealing with alerts.
Perform software upgrades and patches (bios, firmware upgrades, etc.)
Assist in the implementation and maintenance on Business Continuity Planning and IT Disaster Recovery planning.
Assist in the realisation of the risk assessment plan and collaborate in the realization of the risk treatment plan.
Assist in analysis of performance statistics, providing appropriate reports on usage and recommending corrective action.
Maintain a highly secure system through effective governance, and oversight of delivered services.
Ensure that IT security, physical security and data confidentiality are maintained to current std (ISO 27001 / ENS Medio / PCI-DSS).
Produce, and assist in the maintenance of, infrastructure configuration and technical documentation.
Monitor and investigate issues related to infrastructure and resolve problems in systems, processes, and services as appropriate following all organisational change control processes.
