.The roleIn this role you will manage activities in order to ensure excellence in safety and health on the site, ensuring effective implementation of Safety and Health plans. You will have the challenge of monitoring site standards and recognizing good performance as well as addressing poor performance. You will have the opportunity to communicate with local authorities and communities as well as Nestlé management.What you'll doEnsure Compliance: Ensure compliance with local legislation and Nestlé S&H standards and principles by integrating S&H into planning and operational reviews.Implement Strategy: Guide the implementation of the S&H strategy and communicate it to management. Ensure the implementation plan includes effective risk management procedures and propose modifications as required during the implementation journey to reflect changes in risk.Ensure Safe & Healthy Site: Ensure the site is under control for employees, contractors, and visitors, with correct signage and relevant risks effectively managed. Ensure high standards of health & hygiene conditions for workers, with appropriate emergency medical response.Ensure Safe & Healthy Work Practices: Ensure implementation of site procedures and specific safe working practices are in place, focusing on high frequency risks and high hazard tasks.Develop Capability of Managers: Ensure training and coaching are provided to team leaders to enhance their knowledge of risk management, legislation, and duties.Provide Guidance & Support: Ensure team leaders receive trusted guidance & support on S&H matters.
