Provides technical expertise in managing public or private networks, tests and analyzes network services, including network control software, routers, switches, lines, modems, adapters and servers. Installs, supports and/or maintains LAN and/or WAN networks, evaluates and recommends networking and software updates. Perform technical analysis of software, hardware and transmission media using diagnostic tools supported in efficient network operations. Inspects data traffic and monitors the performance of network resources to ensure high-quality transmission. Identifies, diagnoses and resolves technical problems related to managing network failures or maintaining integrity in systems and the use of PC hardware and software.
Responsibilities:
Provide technical experience in managing public or private networks, testing and analyzing network services, including network control software, routers, switches, lines, modems, adapters, and servers.
Install, support and/or maintain LAN and/or WAN networks, evaluating and recommending network creation and software updates.
Carry out technical analysis of software, hardware, and transmission media using diagnostic tools supported in efficient network operations.
Inspect data traffic and control the performance of network resources to ensure high-quality transmission.
Identify, diagnose, and resolve technical issues related to network fault management or the maintenance of system integrity and the use of PC hardware and software.
Previous experience and training:
Demonstrated experience in managing public or private networks, including the installation, support, and/or maintenance of LAN and/or WAN networks.
Experience in conducting technical analysis of software, hardware, and transmission media using diagnostic tools to ensure efficient network operations.
Experience in inspecting data traffic and controlling the performance of network resources to ensure high-quality transmission.
Experience in identifying, diagnosing, and resolving technical issues related to network fault management or the maintenance of system integrity and the use of PC hardware and software.
Training in Computer Science, Systems Engineering, or a related field, preferably with a specialization in network administration.
Hard skills:
Technical experience in managing public or private networks, including the use of network control software, routers, switches, lines, modems, adapters, and servers.
Ability to install, support and/or maintain LAN and/or WAN networks, as well as to evaluate and recommend network creation and software updates.
Ability to carry out technical analysis of software, hardware, and transmission media using diagnostic tools supported in efficient network operations, inspect data traffic, control the performance of network resources, and resolve technical issues related to network fault management or the maintenance of system integrity and the use of PC hardware and software.
