Space Electronics Technician
Join our team and build the future of space technology. The candidate will work within the production team of Alén Space.
She or he will be involved in the production process of our space and ground products, such as our TOTEM Software Defined Radio for nanosatellites or our Ground Station Kit. The candidate will execute activities related to the manufacturing process of our electronics products and support the activities of the R&D projects, all of them following the Quality Management System established in the company.
What you will be doing?Inspection and electrical and functional test of electronics products following defined procedures.Manual assembly of simple PCBs with SMD components.Manufacturing, inspection and test of harness.General control of laboratory materials and equipment.What do we need in our team?The applicant must have good writing and reading skills in English (B1 level or higher). Exceptional organizational and cleanliness skills and a good disposition to work according to quality standard methodologies for manufacturing and testing following defined procedures.
Experience Required:Experience in the utilization of simple instrumentation equipment (power supply, multimeter, oscilloscope).Experience in the utilization of harness and PCB assembly tools (crimping tools, soldering tools).Experience in management of electronics parts stock.Valuable knowledge in advanced instrumentation equipment (spectrum analyser, signal generator).Experience in testing of RF devices.Knowledge of simple electronic circuits.Hands-on experience in EDA (electronic design automation) software for electronics and mechanical design (Altium, Solidworks or similar).Experience working in clean room and ESD protection areas.Knowledge of quality standards such as ISO 9001.The applicant must have good communication skills and must be able to work autonomously in an effective manner, while cooperating in a potentially international and culturally diverse team. Moreover, the applicant must have good analytical, organizational, and reporting skills; together with a proactive attitude to solve problems individually and an interest in technology development.
