Job Description: Cadagua, a company belonging to Ferrovial Construcción, leader in the design, construction, and operation of Water Treatment Plants, requires the incorporation of an Electromechanical Start-up Technician.
FUNCTIONS: Final work control: Supervision of the assembly of mechanical equipment and electrical installations according to specifications and assembly plans.
Pre-start tests: Electrical: Check insulation of power lines to different motors. Check each of the interlocks of the circuits. Check field signals (analog and digital) for each of the circuits. Check machine start-up in automatic and manual modes. Verify assembly of instrumentation and calibration. Mechanical: Clean pipes. Leak tests of pipes, tanks, and pits. Pressure tests. Adjust valves and limit switches of valves and gates. Clean pumping wells (from foreign elements that may affect submersible pumps). Leak tests of digesters (if any). Check motor insulation, alignment of base (motor-machine), check oil and grease levels, motor rotation direction, anchors or flanges to the pipe (to avoid stressing the machine). Functioning tests: Control of absence of leaks. Adjust the working point of pumps and other equipment. Verify the operating criteria of the installation. Adjust the different control loops. Check correct functioning in automatic mode of the Plant. Parameterization of the Plant instrumentation. Guarantee tests: Check, during the warranty phase of the plant, the correct continuous operation of the installations, with performance and consumption according to design and technical specifications of the equipment. Optimization of reagent consumption, energy, and minimization of by-products. Control of plant analytics and process adjustments. Preparation of protocols: Testing protocols for client approval. Preparation of Inspection Points (PPIs). REQUIREMENTS: Education: Technical; Electrical Engineer or Naval Mechanic. Knowledge in PLC programming and chemical knowledge will be valued. Availability to travel to existing works in the Peninsula; Islands and Autonomous Communities. Driver's license required. Necessary knowledge: AutoCAD and interpretation of electrical plans and diagrams. Minimum experience: At least 5 years in similar positions. WHAT WE OFFER?
