We are currently looking to appoint a new Early Childhood Education Technician/ Técnico/a de Educación Infantilfor the stage of 0 - 3 years old, for a maternity cover, starting January 20th 2025.
These are the main responsibilities: Provide a safe, supportive, and stimulating environment for infants.Assist in implementing age-appropriate educational activities and curriculum designed to promote the physical, cognitive, emotional, and social development of infants.Supervise and engage infants in indoor and outdoor activities, including playtime, arts and crafts, and group games.Assist with meal times, snacks, and bathroom routines, ensuring infant's health and hygiene needs are met.Observe and monitor infant's behavior and development, and communicate any concerns or observations to supervising teachers or administrators.Foster positive relationships with infants, parents, and colleagues, maintaining open communication and cooperation.Support teachers in classroom management and organization, including preparing materials and setting up learning spaces.Collaborate with other staff members to plan and participate in special events, and parent-teacher meetings.Maintain cleanliness and orderliness of classroom and play areas, including sanitizing toys and equipment regularly.Attend professional development workshops and training sessions to enhance skills and stay updated on best practices in early childhood education.Requisites: • Education in Pre-School Education (Ciclo Formativo de Grado Superior en Educación Infantil)
• High level of English
• Spanish
• 2 years of experience in the role
• A valid work permit to work in Spain/European Union
