With affiliated companies in Italy, USA, Mexico, Brazil, China, India, and Morocco, we sell our products to more than 70 countries and operate in multiple markets, including industrial vehicles, buses, trains, agriculture and construction machinery, boats, motorcycles, and passenger cars.We are looking for a Technology and Regulatory Surveillance Engineer, reporting directly to the Product Engineering Director.MISSIONEnsure that the company is prepared for future challenges by implementing a regulatory compliance strategy, a technological vigilance, and strategic communication within the organization.ESSENTIAL TASKSMonitoring Regulations:- Staying up to date with laws and regulations relevant to our industry in the markets where our products are sold is essential.- Analyzing and evaluating the impact of regulatory changes on company operations is crucial.Implementation of Policies and Procedures:- Assisting in the development and updating of policies and procedures ensures regulatory compliance.- Collaborating with different departments to implement effective compliance practices is important.Training and Awareness:- Developing and providing training on regulatory compliance and technological surveillance for employees.- Promoting a culture of awareness and regulatory compliance within the organization.Audits and Compliance Reviews:- Coordinating and conducting internal audits to verify compliance with regulations.- Preparing audit reports and recommending improvements.Risk Management:- Identifying and evaluating compliance risks and developing mitigation strategies.- Participating in incident management and resolution related to compliance issues.Communication with Regulatory Entities:- Serving as a point of contact for inquiries or inspections by regulatory bodies.- Preparing and presenting required reports to regulatory authorities.Internal Communication:- Providing regular reports on technological surveillance and regulatory compliance within the company effectively.
This involves preparing reports, presentations, and summaries for management teams and other departments.- Being a reference point.- Translating product regulations into a list of requirements (compliance matrix).Capturing Information on Technological Trends:- Exploring external and internal sources to gather relevant data on science, technology, and innovation.
This helps the company identify disruptive opportunities.Strategic Anticipation:- Anticipating changes through competitive analysis of technological trends and regulatory shifts.
The responsible individual will propose strategies based on this knowledge to maintain a competitive edge.Interdepartmental Collaboration:- Working closely with other departments, such as RD, marketing, and legal, is essential for effective compliance and comprehensive risk management.PROFILE REQUIREDEngineering degree.
