col-wideJob Description:Open Job Posting forTechnology Engineer (VMware and Windows)COTY, Granollers, SpainMISSION AND RESPONSABILITIESThe Technology Engineer (VMware/Windows) provides Level II operational and installation support for Information Systems related to the enterprise infrastructure hosted by Coty to support Coty's world:wide operations, with a focus specifically on VMware virtualization and the Windows platform. This position will take direction from the Technology Senior Engineer, Technology Architect, and/or Team Leads in the areas of focus.Main Responsabilities:Support the installation, optimization, troubleshooting, and maintenance of VMware and Windows systems and components:Assist with planning, execution, and control of project:relate tasks and activities.:Provide technical support, troubleshooting, and complex problem resolution on issues related to environment performance and stability.:Document software and system configuration:Respond in a timely fashion to infrastructure faults at sites around the world:Participate in 24x7 on:call rotation with other members of the team:SLA metrics for completion of Incident, Service Request, and Change Request tickets, and maintaining a low back:log:Daily ticket management and prioritization:Ability to quickly escalate issues to correct technology pillar and/or senior engineersMAIN REQUIREMENTS AND SKILLS(THE IDEAL FIT):Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills:Dedication to maintaining a high level of service:Ability to perform job responsibilities under stress:Hands on, able to perform tasks and troubleshoot problems remotely:3- years of experience in VMware and Windows operations:A pro:active team player capable of supporting a high level of operational activity with a 'hands on' style including some travel (domestic and international) to work with IT Management and peers:Relevant IT qualifications at degree level or equivalent practical experience:3- years' experience in a hands on technology/administration infrastructure and similar roles:Optional training and certification in VMware and Importante empresa technologies:Ability and willingness to operate in both a 'hands:on' and strategic capacity as required:Willingness to travel:approximately 10 of the time:Ability to work both independently and within a team environment:Ability to work under pressure:Ability to work in a fully international environment, with business travels in the region:Fluent in English
