The research focuses on the acquisition and processing of multibeam bathymetry and backscatter data and on the integration with multi-source data (e.g., EK80, side scan sonar, sub bottom profiler) to support the geomorphological characterization of the seabed, mapping of surface sediments, and identification of water column targets (e.g., fish shoal and oil and gas leakage).
This effort aims to aid habitat mapping and the assessment of natural and anthropogenic risks.
These procedures will be applied in various geographical contexts and project themes.

Requirements

- Degree in Biology or Environmental and Land Engineering or Geophysical Sciences or Natural Sciences or Environmental Sciences and Technologies or Geological Sciences and Technologies.
- Experience in the field of the topic referred to in the art.
