Descripción: The Barcelona Institute for Global Health (ISGlobal) is a cutting-edge institute addressing global public health challenges through research, translation into policy, and education.
ISGlobal has a broad portfolio in communicable and non-communicable diseases including environmental and climate determinants, and applies a multidisciplinary scientific approach ranging from the molecular to the population level.
Research is organized in the following main areas: Malaria and other Infectious Diseases, Maternal, Child and Reproductive Health, Urban Health, and Child and Environmental Health, Climate Non-Communicable Diseases.
ISGlobal is accredited with the Severo Ochoa distinction, a seal of excellence of the Spanish Science Ministry.Lugar: BarcelonaWhat We Are Looking for: ISGlobal is seeking a part-time (50%) Research Technician who is interested in taking over and managing activities for the new follow-up of the INMA Menorca cohort.
The overall aim of the INMA project is to study the most important environmental pollutants and the effects they have on health along the life course.
The INMA-Menorca birth cohort was created between July 1997 and December 1999 and since then several follow-ups at different ages have been carried out.
The new follow-up of the INMA Menorca cohort is framed within the GOLIAT project, which receives funding from the European Union's Horizon Europe research and innovation programme (Grant Agreement No 101057262).
The aims of GOLIAT are to monitor radiofrequency electromagnetic fields (RF-EMF) exposure, particularly from 5G, provide novel insights into its potential causal health effects, and understand how exposures and risks are.Key Responsibilities:Coordinate and carry out all the necessary tasks to complete the new follow-up of INMA Menorca.Work with the project coordinators to ensure timely accomplishment of project objectives.Specific Duties:Review and adapt the protocols for the visit.Send documentation and material to participants.Organize and conduct the face-to-face visits.Review of data entry.Participate in regular meetings.Auxiliary Task: This job description reflects the present requirements of the post but may evolve at any time in the future as duties and responsibilities change and/or develop providing there is appropriate consultation with the post-holder.Training and experience/Qualifications:Higher education in Nursing, Physical Activity and Sport Sciences, Nutrition or similar.Experience conducting physical assessments.Experience in epidemiological research and data collection will be an asset.Specific Requirements:Proficient in Microsoft Office software.Ability to work independently and as a team member.Attention to detail.Excellent communication skills.Flexibility.El anuncio original lo puedes encontrar en Kit Empleo: https://www.kitempleo.es/empleo/130037464/technician-for-the-new-follow-up-inma-menorca-h-594-barcelona/?utm_source=html #J-18808-Ljbffr
