As a Technical Writer on our Product Content team, you'll create and maintain clear, accessible technical documentation for our help centers and developer portal. Reporting to the Product Content Manager, you'll collaborate across teams to support feature launches with accurate, user-friendly content, helping drive product adoption and reduce support reliance.
What you'll do:
- Partner with Engineering teams to develop highly-technical API documentation for developers
- Develop strategies for the information architecture and structure of our API documentation for an enhanced developer portal
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and organize new feature documentation
- Write and maintain documentation for Benevity's external help centers that is clear, concise, and accurate while empathizing with the audience
- Maintain content standards and manage localization with translation partners
- Edit and proofread documents written by writers and non-writers
- Manage multiple projects, working closely with the Product team to simplify complex workflows
What you'll bring:
- Experience writing developer documentation for Saa S products
- Bachelor's degree in English, Communications, Technical Writing, Business Administration or equivalent such as a Certificate in Technical Writing
- Strong writing, editing, and organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects
- Collaborative, detail-oriented, and skilled at simplifying complex technical content
- Familiarity with online help platforms (Zendesk, Mad Cap Flare) and project management tools (Asana, JIRA)
