Location
Our Technical Writer will be an integral part of our UX/UI team in EMEA. This role is based remotely and can be located in either Spain, the United Kingdom or Ireland.

The Opportunity
As Technical Writer, you will be encouraged to take a customer-centric view towards documentation; collaborating with our talented team of product managers, engineers and designers to identify documentation needs.
Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, as well as native-level proficiency in English, are essential for success in this role.
This role is ideal for someone who has an appetite to learn new challenging technical concepts and the desire to become a subject-matter expert in our product.
Responsibilities
- Become a subject matter expert in our product
- Create, update and maintain customer-facing documentation at Doi T Help Center and the Developer Hub
- Collaborate with Product managers, engineers, and designers to gain an in-depth understanding of our product portfolio, identify documentation needs and opportunities from a customer-centric view
- Manage multiple documentation tasks in any given sprint
- Contribute to other technical knowledge articles at Doi T
- Participate in tooling and process improvements
Qualifications
- 4+ years experience in writing, editing, and reviewing technical documentation for B2B Saa S products
- Proven ability to gather information from multiple channels, dive deep, and synthesize the information into a cohesive narrative
- Proven ability to operate with flexibility, in a fast-paced, constantly evolving team environment
- Self-organized and a self-motivated individual who is confident, thorough and tenacious
- Experience building documentation websites with static site generators and markup languages like Markdown/MDX; proficiency with docs-as-code tools like Git Hub
- Understanding API best practices; familiar with API specs and documentation tools
- Excellent communication skills in English, both written and verbal
Bonus Points
- Basic understanding of cloud technology, e.g., AWS, Google Cloud, Kubernetes
- Experience and knowledge of Doc Ops
- A great sense of humor and enjoys having fun at work
