The position requires a savvy individual with a strong work ethic and excellent communication skills.
Fenergo's Knowledge Management and Training Team is at the forefront of our company's success as it works collaboratively with all areas to develop a deep knowledge and understanding of our solution in order to design and develop training material for delivery to our employees, clients, and partners.
This role will be client-facing and requires an individual who has excellent communication skills, is a self-starter, an innovative thinker, and someone who is passionate about training.
Primary responsibilities of the Technical Trainer include: Influence the continuous improvement of Fenergo's technical training programme reinforcing a quality culture.
Designing and developing learning content for Instructor Led Training (ILT) and online for our Learning Management System (LMS).
Delivering technical training on the company's software solutions for internal staff, partners, and external clients.
Partner with the business to roll out relevant technical and functional training programmes.
Identify training needs for clients, staff, and partners, and develop appropriate solutions to address these needs.
Follow up on feedback from training and continually improve content.
Maintain the infrastructure used to deliver training, including virtual environments, software deployment, and associated documents and presentations.
When required, travel internationally to deliver training on-site in person.
Develop product demonstrations/simulations and case studies.
Design training material including PowerPoint presentations, notes/handouts, and lab exercises.
Design and deliver e-learning solutions to align with client, staff, and partner needs.
Adhere to deadlines, project commitments, and deliverables.
Ensure the quality and consistency of course content throughout the course life cycle.
Provide timely feedback on training content and incorporate feedback into current training documentation.
Provide internal support and mentoring on projects.
Manage training events from start to finish.
Requirements: Personal Characteristics: Ability to adapt to ongoing change in a fast-paced, customer-focused environment.

Creative thinker and problem solver.
A self-starter who works on their own initiative.
Ability to work under pressured deadlines.
Required Skills: Experienced trainer/content developer.
Excellent oral and written communication skills.
Excellent presentation skills.
Excellent organisational skills.
Experienced user of MS Office toolset (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint).
Beneficial Skills: The following skills would be useful but not required: Experience working with C# language and Visual Studio.
Knowledge of Microsoft.Net framework.
Knowledge of Microsoft Internet Information Server (IIS).
Knowledge of Apache Camel route configuration and transforms.
Knowledge of the financial services industry is an advantage.
Source Control - Git / TFS.
Education & Experience: Degree or Diploma in Computing or similar related qualification.
Microsoft Certification is an advantage.
Excellent relationship building and interpersonal skills.
