We are hiring!Since 2019, and thanks to the support from the European Commission, OpenNebula Systems has been leading the edge computing innovation in Europe, investing heavily in research and open source development, and playing a key role in strategic EU initiatives such as the IPCEI-CIS and the "European Alliance for Industrial Data, Edge and Cloud".We are currently looking for a Technical Trainer to come and join us in Europe as part of our new team developing the next generation management platform for the Cloud-Edge Computing Continuum. Job DescriptionAs a Technical Trainer, you will power customer knowledge of OpenNebula's open source software, advise on OpenNebula training services portfolio, carry out IT skills gap analysis, and deliver technical private and public training while building a network of authorized OpenNebula Training Partners. You will gain in-depth knowledge and demonstrate experience of OpenNebula products and solutions. This is a senior technical role, reporting to the Head of Engineering. Courses will be delivered mostly on-line, and, at times,in traditional lecture/lab settings.What you will do Defining, developing and delivering training programs for internal employees, customers and partners Creating and delivering technical instructions and demonstrations for pre- and post-sale support, workshops, user meetings, technical conferences, and remote or in-person customer meetings Defining and delivering a new training webinar series Conducting "train the trainer" sessions Developing custom courses using and extending existing training curriculum Working with sales to determine training curriculum needs Updating and maintaining existing courseware, material and labs Supporting customer needs for OpenNebula training and certification by acting as the subject matter expert Helping customer understand their IT skills gap through effective analysis Collaborating with OpenNebula sales, community, engineer and development teams to achieve OpenNebula business and customer satisfaction goals Building online version of OpenNebula courses Building and maintaining Ansible playbooks used in the course lab building Creating and coordinating a network of training partners What you will bring Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
