The company is dedicated to giving the new reps hands-on training experience with the customers, materials, operations, and laboratories, to better understand the market and technical aspects of the products. The training and cross-functional learning period will be approximately 5 to 6 months. TN Visa Sponsorship is provided, if needed.THE POSITIONThe technical sales representative is an entry-level role that will go through a training and learning period. The primary objective of this role is to foster strong relationships with clients, provide exceptional technical support, and drive sales growth in our target markets. The technical sales representative will work closely with our research and development team to understand the unique features of our products and communicate their benefits effectively to potential customers. Additionally, this role will be responsible for staying up to date on industry trends and innovations to ensure that our company remains at the forefront of the composites adhesives and prepregs market. Ultimately, the technical sales representative will play a crucial role in expanding our customer base and driving revenue growth for our company. This position reports to the Head of Business Development and/or Operations leadership.Main Responsibilities (in order of priority)Developing and maintaining strong relationships with existing and potential customers in the target markets.Providing technical expertise and support to customers on the application and use of our products.Identifying new business opportunities and expanding the customer base.Collaborating with the research and development team to gain a deep understanding of our products and communicate their unique selling points to customers.Conducting market research and staying up to date on industry trends and innovations.Creating and presenting sales proposals and presentations to customers, highlighting the benefits of our products.Meeting or exceeding sales targets and contributing to the company's revenue growth.Participating in industry events, conferences, and trade shows to promote our products and establish new business connections.Maintaining accurate records of sales activities and customer interactions in the CRM system
