The company is dedicated to giving the new reps hands-on training experience with the customers, materials, operations, and laboratories, to better understand the market and technical aspects of the products.
The training and cross-functional learning period will be approximately 5 to 6 months.

THE POSITION The technical sales representative is an entry-level role that will go through a training and learning period.
The primary objective of this role is to foster strong relationships with clients, provide exceptional technical support, and drive sales growth in our target markets.
The technical sales representative will work closely with our research and development team to understand the unique features of our products and communicate their benefits effectively to potential customers.
Additionally, this role will be responsible for staying up to date on industry trends and innovations to ensure that our company remains at the forefront of the composites adhesives and prepregs market.
Ultimately, the technical sales representative will play a crucial role in expanding our customer base and driving revenue growth for our company.
This position reports to the Head of Business Development and/or Operations leadership.
Main Responsibilities (in order of priority) Developing and maintaining strong relationships with existing and potential customers in the target markets.
Providing technical expertise and support to customers on the application and use of our products.
Identifying new business opportunities and expanding the customer base.
Collaborating with the research and development team to gain a deep understanding of our products and communicate their unique selling points to customers.
Conducting market research and staying up to date on industry trends and innovations.
Creating and presenting sales proposals and presentations to customers, highlighting the benefits of our products.
Meeting or exceeding sales targets and contributing to the company's revenue growth.
Participating in industry events, conferences, and trade shows to promote our products and establish new business connections.
Maintaining accurate records of sales activities and customer interactions in the CRM system.
Collaborating with other departments, such as marketing and customer service, to ensure seamless customer experience.
This position mostly interacts with Customers, Leadership, Operations / R&D / Technical Teams.
THE CANDIDATE The ideal candidate will have 1 to 4 years of professional work experience with one or a combination of customer service, service tech, sales, or engineering roles.
Some sales experience is a plus but willing to train if the individual has good sales aptitude.
Fast learner with good technical aptitude.
Highly driven, self-motivated, and results-oriented.
Assertive, possessing excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
Excellent social skills.
Strong presentation skills and able to tell a good story.
Kind and courteous with a very professional demeanor.
A can-do attitude coupled with high energy.
High integrity and values.
Fluent in English and Spanish is desirable.
Bachelor's degree in chemistry, material science, engineering, or business or similar (in that order of preference).
Must have a valid U.S.
Tourist Visa.
Able to travel up to 30%.
Will consider TN work visa sponsorship and some light relocation support.
