As we continue to expand our market presence, we are seeking a dynamic and experienced Technical Sales Manager to join our team.
Role Description
This is a full-time remote role for a Technical Sales Manager at MERYT Catalysts & Innovation. The Technical Sales Manager will be responsible for developing and executing sales strategies, identifying new business opportunities, building and maintaining client relationships, and meeting sales targets. The Sales Manager will also be responsible for managing a sales team, providing training and coaching, and ensuring customer satisfaction.
Responsibilities:
Develop and execute sales strategies to drive revenue growth in the European market, focusing on refineries and chemical plants.
Identify and target key accounts, building and maintaining strong relationships with existing and prospective customers.
Conduct on-site visits to understand customer needs, provide technical support, and promote our products and solutions.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams including marketing, product development, and customer service to deliver comprehensive solutions that meet customer requirements.
Stay informed about industry trends, market developments, and competitor activities to identify opportunities for growth.
Prepare and deliver sales presentations, proposals, and reports to effectively communicate the value proposition of our products and services.
Achieve sales targets and objectives within assigned territories.
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering or related field.
Proven experience in sales and business development, with at least five years of experience in a similar role.
Strong technical background with a solid understanding of catalysis and adsorption, chemical processes, and energy efficiency.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to negotiate effectively with customers at all levels.
Demonstrated ability to work independently and remotely, managing time and priorities effectively.
Proficiency in English. Other languages' knowledge will be valued.
Willingness to travel extensively within Spain and the rest of Europe, 50% of the time.
Previous experience in the industry will be valued.
Based in Spain.
