Role Overview What you will do: Manage all aspects of the project from kick-off through to delivery to operational support. Plan based on project scope and required business outcomes, including defined deliverables, key interdependencies, and resourcing requirements. Provide a single point of accountability as the primary point of contact for the project. Review budgets, monitor and report progress against the projects. Manage the project against milestones and specifications and manage any change to individual project scope along with the local cluster, ensuring that changes are only agreed with Change Requests, and commercial considerations have been taken into account. Ensure that controls and measures are in place to assure the quality of everything delivered. Keep key internal and external stakeholders well informed with accurate and timely information of progress, risks, and issues including daily updates to the hotel project team. Maintain, manage, and properly coordinate interdependencies with other projects. Define project management templates using Planet preferred tools. Contribute continually to evolving standards within Planet. Manage the installation project plan as business requires, which may include performing site inspections throughout the installation process. Assist in developing resolutions to complex technical problems requiring an in-depth evaluation of various factors. Develop installation schedules, evaluate installation estimates, review contract modifications, and verify work performed to the project brief. Collaborate with and/or mentor service and installation technicians to ensure they are aware of technical requirements, new technology, troubleshooting, and other issues as applicable. Manage and direct the daily load of subcontractor assignments and job fulfillment obligations. Evaluate customer installation concerns before, during, and after installation. Plan and implement procedures, processes, and systems to maximize operating efficiency. Maintain an agreed-upon level of accuracy in measurements and installations with minimal rework and additional trips to the job site. Define, standardize, and document all installation processes and ensure they are followed consistently to Planet standards. Provide supervision and planning in the successful completion of specific projects. Who you are Minimum 3 years of experience in Project Management. Minimum 1 year of Project Management within the Hospitality Industry. Networking expertise equivalent to CCNA (advantage). Bachelor's degree in a technical field; advanced degree or relevant certifications (PMP, Scrum Master, etc.)
is a plus. Proven experience as a Technical Project Manager, leading complex technical projects from initiation to completion. In-depth knowledge of project management methodologies, Agile practices, and technical frameworks. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Demonstrated ability to manage and collaborate with cross-functional teams. Proficient in project management tools and software. Business English and French language skills are essential for the role.
