Volpak is adapted to reduced mobility people and especially sensitive with people with functional diversity.About the Role - Leader of the project within the Engineering function in charge of ensuring that the product meets the agreed technical requirements, managing/ coordinating the engineering team in the design phase.- Accountable and responsible for Mechanical, Hardware, Software design development according to specified requirements in a specific project.
Ensures the project KPI's compliance as technical features, costs, etc.- Accountable and responsible for the design plan of each module, the system architecture and breakdown.- Accountable and responsible for releasing in production the existing modules.- Accountable and responsible for the design and verification of each module through, among others, simulation and virtual commissioning.- Accountable and responsible for the system integration and verification and the final design definition.- Supports the manufacturing and assembly process gate.- Accountable and responsible for implementation of modules adjustments according to requirements, and respective adaptation of the bill of material.- Checks and approves the engineering deliverable final design dossier.- To support and propose initiatives in Design to Cost.- Provides and collaborates proper technical support inside and outside engineering team by sharing internal know-how on technologies and products.- Ensure the proper handover from R&D to the rest of the company.- Lead and support to the team by establishing the objectives and development plans.What you need to be successful - Mechanical or Industrial Engineering Degree.- + 5 years of experience in mechanical design.- Background in packaging machine sector would be a plus.- Knowledge of modern 3D CAD system, integrated with PLM.- Good knowledge in pneumatics.- Familiar with basic functions of ERP.- Electrical and Software Engineering knowledge.- Knowledge of Agile development methodologies, with excellent project management and cross-functional leadership skills
