OLX is creating a new functional team to assemble and manage the portfolio of OLX Group products, capabilities, and technologies across all of its business units and provide global visibility to leadership.
This team will provide hands-on program management when product delivery and integration span organizational boundaries.
Additionally, this group will own and lead programs with global scope for compliance, security, or operations that transcend any single business unit.
This team will create the mechanisms for governance, ways of working, and prioritization across the Group.
This will include strategic portfolio management tools for managing dependencies and deliverables, defining the format and cadence of program reviews, and ensuring decisions that maximize the investments of people and resources into things that matter to the company's customers.
ResponsibilitiesLead cross-functional programs through design, development, and market introduction.Collaborate with leads across Group and business units to ensure work is aligned with the strategic priorities.Prioritize programs, develop deliverables schedules, track external dependencies and commitments, manage stakeholders.Manage programs to success, determining and mitigating risks, assessing and communicating status, providing programs visibility.Track program performance using success metrics, anticipate risks, resolve issues, and collaborate to fine-tune programs as needed.Manage a portfolio of programs using tools and analytics to ensure programs are meeting business unit and Group goals across OLX.Profile & ExperienceBachelor's degree in a technical field or equivalent practical experience.Considerable experience in software program management, including managing significant cross-functional projects in mid-size or large companies using industry-standard software development methodologies.Experience operating at scale, e.g., with teams and products around the world, in fast-growing consumer markets.Experience working directly with executive teams.High attention to detail and proven ability to manage multiple competing priorities.Strong verbal and written communication skills in English.Key Partners & StakeholdersThe Program Management Office (PMO) is part of the Global CTO office and regularly collaborates with executive level leaders.Business unit CTO and CPO leadership - collaboration and governance to ensure programs meet global and business unit goals.Executive management team - preparation of quarterly reviews delivered by business unit leads.Finance leaders - planning product investments, tracking program costs and ROI.Why join OLX?At OLX, we unlock value in our people.
