WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING As a Technical Product Owner, you will lead and own the development and performance of a specific IT product throughout its entire lifecycle: analysis, monitoring, development, maintenance, and continuous improvement.
You will work closely with development squad teams, support the creation of user stories in line with business product owner peers, coordinate testing activities, and approve release plans.
Accordingly, you are responsible for the compliance and adherence to optimum technical quality & performance standards within the IT products you interact with.
We need someone like you to help us in different fronts: Lead the proposal for a specific process/area to drive digital transformation, seeking efficiencies in processes and adding value to users.
Have a clear vision of how the user experience should be in any digital channel and focus on user stories to ensure optimal user experience.
Lead the translation of user stories into detailed technical requirements and technical tasks to feed developer squad teams, providing a systems perspective and identifying impacts and dependencies.
Ensure the applicable definition of ready/definition of done requirements get documented accordingly.
Support stakeholders in prioritizing user stories and technical items, including defects from IT Operations and tickets requiring support based on criticality and customer impact.
Assist development squad teams in balancing effort between user story development and defect/ticket resolution on a daily basis.
Facilitate critical dependencies management within the IT product and across products.
Support the development and execution of acceptance tests based on acceptance criteria, coordinating all test activities, and ensuring that each story meets acceptance criteria.
Continuously update the delivery team in case of business changes, in coordination with Business Product Owners and other peer Technical Product Owners.
Approve the final release plan in accordance with agreed priorities and dependencies, in collaboration with the Release Manager.
Analyze and report delivery, progress, risks, and opportunities.
Ensure that technical debt is properly managed, with the support of SW Architecture leads.
EXPERIENCE Years of relevant IT work experience, including experience in user management, scope changes, and digital channel projects.
Experience working with technical teams in full stack development, including: data modeling, object-oriented programming, cross-platform development (C++, Java, Objective-C, Swift, JavaScript, or one or more languages).
Implementation, integration, and enhancement of third-party APIs; browser development, testing, and debugging tools, JavaScript.
Experience on digital channels (web and/or apps) projects, transformation, or evolution programs.
Experience in large transformation programs within banking clients.
Experience in Corporate and Investment Banking products will be very valuable.
EDUCATION Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or other related field, or equivalent work experience.
SKILLS & KNOWLEDGE Front End Technologies such as Angular, Node, API development, and strong integration capabilities.
Knowledge of unit testing, performance testing, and client-side end-to-end testing (UI testing) and associated frameworks and tools.
Experience writing unit tests.
Working experience with Relational SQL and NoSQL databases, data acquisition, and data warehouse related services.
Must have a "can-do" attitude and strong communication skills.
Great leadership to motivate development teams towards a common goal.
Ability to analyze, develop, and implement complex programming solutions.
Ability to execute test plans, create test cases, and contribute to the appropriate software development life cycle methodology and application of specialized business.
Self-starter, able to work with minimal supervision and adapt well in a fast-paced Agile environment.
Experience with Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban) and DevOps.
Participates as a team member and fosters teamwork by inter-group coordination within the modules of the project.
Effectively collaborates and communicates with stakeholders to ensure client satisfaction.
